We've got an assortment of little quizzes, followed by a big Scream Test. In Janos Skorzeny's honor, we'll wrap up with a Werewolf Quiz.

On a barely related note - Oliver Reed always seemed to me like the name of a comic book character. No matter how many movies i've seen him in, there's always this little nag in the back of my head that thinks he's in the wrong place.

Now that Saturday is here and the Solutions are up, let's grade those answers, shall we, TC?

You only answered 9 of the 10, but all were correct, so the 10th answer is implied and correct.
Section Two:
Dino Domination - completely correct.
Section Three:
#4 was Ghidrah - but was such a stretch of mispronunciation that we'll call it a cheaty question/answer and move right along...
Section Four:
Oops - Reversed The Crawling Hand and The Eye Creatures.
(But you got the 5000 Fingers of Dr. T(erwilliker), and that's my odd favorite)
Section Five:
#2 - B not C
#5 - A not C
#6 - B not C
#9 - C not B
A tough section with a ton of movies modern audiences have never heard of, much less seen. But, you still managed 2/3 correct answers and got the trick question.
Final Section:

All answers technically correct, though #9's "No Clue" wasn't the answer sought, it was technically right, and with the bonus answer for #4 we'll call it even.
Solid marks, TC. I did worse in the Scream Test section.
Of course, I knew them all. (Hey, lies count, right? Whaddya mean no?)
ReplyDeleteI can understand why you might think that, given the constant messages from our governments and media outlets, but - No.
DeleteYou'll note that TC was given credit for an honest answer of ignorance. I know that goes against the grain of society, but that's the way we play here.
(A large part of why i hermit is because i actually tend to believe most of those things we teach our children ought to apply to adult life, too.)
But, always remember: we're too cheap for prizes, so it doesn't matter!

DeleteWell, no - I'm not going to tell you that dreams don't count. Dreams definitely count, but their relative validity is something to be charted on a subjective/objective/situational relativistic matrix, and thusly not subject to a singularly defined rule.
