Stupor, Snooper, or Blooper?

Today we've got a semi-random sampling of old comics with little connective tissue. They're all comedy strips and they offer up the choices titling this post - StuporMan, the Snooper Man, and BlooperMan.  The first two come from the '40s, and the last one comes from the '60s; twice. They all just jumped out as i was passing while thinking about another, harder to write, post.

Nonsense is always easier. Just ask our government.

From the first issue of Joker Comics, by Douglas Grant and Harry Ramsey, we've got StuporMan -

Twas only single digit minutes later when i bumbed into Soapy Sam, the Snooper Man - close enough for the rhyme to ring...

And not 15 minutes after that, BlooperMan got in on the act - and so a post was born. We've actually seen Blooperman before, on the cover of Go-Go Comics, back when we were looking at Bunny Luv, i think. Or maybe while visiting Grass Green's work on Superella. Either way, now we can finally see who that guy on the cover was, with Jon D'Agostino drawing the strip...

Some days are sillier than others.

Bad Times For Good Cats

I'm a bit too depressed from watching how evil our government can get when they have a good crisis to exploit. Not surprised that the scum also rises, but depressed.
So no words just now.

Here's the continuation of yesterday's post and the ongoing tale of Xal-Kor, The Human Cat from Grass Green -

That's all for now.

Do try to watch what they're doing while you're hunkered down, eh? And remember that they spend many millions of dollars on what to say to get you to go along with their evils.

The rest is all excuses to cover guilt, shame, prying-eyes, profits, and prosecution.

This Time He's SciFi Serious!

On with the conclusion to the Enchanted Flivver saga from Capt. Frank Moss and Frank Borth. (You've been reading along, right?) Giltrock steps up his efforts to capture and make Henrietta his own...

So far as i know, that's the last anyone ever saw of Henrietta and company. But there's lots more Borth artwork to love, along with many other treasures in the Chest, so we'll be back once again.

And now we just have to wait 8 more months for Love & Thunder...
