SM Cartoons

Spent most of the day dealing with the frustrating puzzles of the new software and haven't blog-formatted the images for Saturday Solutions yet. So here's a bit of Saturday Morning Cartoon type action to distract you, and we'll be back with the answers later in the day, after i'm awake again.

There was no next month.

Who Whats

Meeting the new medical team went well today, but slipped in the snow on the way home and having much too much fun with my knee now. So before i go hibernate and heal, let's quickly set up this edition of

While The Doctor is a fairly frequent subject around here, we tend to lean towards the older run when pulling puzzles and references. Let's visit the modern era for today's Doctor Who quiz collection -

Hmm. That word search looks awfully easy.
Let's fix that, eh?

To wrap up, we jump tracks. Instead of a test type quiz, here's one of those Cosmo Personality Quizzes that have become so ubiquitous at times -

...but you'll still have to wait until tomorrow to chart the results, just like the 'real' quizzes.

What You Watchin'? (Again)

I hope everyone had a fine Valentine's Day. Woke up here to a thick blanket of snow covering the landscape, with light snowfall throughout the day. Perfectly lovely day, and a fine setting for taking those Valentine's nudes. You have your traditions, we have ours.

One of those traditions is enjoying a not-holiday movie after our holiday meal. We really weren't sure to expect with this one, but had to give it a go - and were rather pleased with the choice after viewing.

Have you seen this one yet?

BTW - The animated version of Gotham By Gaslight is out if you haven't seen it yet. Happily, they changed the story for those who read the original, but generally kept the feel.
Y'know - I wish the folks who handle much of DC's animated movies had control of the live action end of things. Even the failures would be more entertaining.

Long day today, and longer tomorrow, so sleep now, more answers and musings later.

It's Treatable With Flowers And Chocolates

Meanwhile, back at the comic books on Valentine's Day...

Even Lone Wolf characters like Batman are into Valentine's Day-

Who would have thought that over 50 years ago DC was supporting gay couples and non-monogamous relationships in 1966:

That's what's going on there, right?
Anyway...

The idea that Love is beyond Death leaves us with...

Let's wrap up our Valentine's Day covers and cards the way we started them - with Spidey & Deady(?!)-

At Least There's No Massacre

Looking around at the world today, it's hard not to feel longings for a sweeter, more loving time.
You know, like it used to be on Valentine's Day...

What the frell did i just see?

Apparently this "love" stuff has been pretty sick & twisted all along...

After all the lewd puns, threats, masochism, bondage, pussy licking, topless man-eaters, and what all in the other cards, that last one still manages to be extra creepy in its way.

So next time, we'll come back with some nice, wholesome comic book Valentines.

Okay, yeah. That's a whole 'nother level of creepy.
But still better than the look on CM's face for this stalker Valentine -

Eek!
