I thought it looked so much like vintage Kirby that it must have been some kind of trick question, so I didn't chime in with the obvious answer. -Mindbender
Nope - just me being blatantly obvious, i thought. Even included some inked by Joe Simon. It was his birthday, and my planned project was off walkies.
Folks - if you know some classic Kirby tales that only seem to exist in poor digital scans, point me at 'em. I'm looking for a de-aging & restoration project.
Okay - I was being an idiot. TODAY, the 28th, is Jack's birthday. I gots discombobulated and substituted the 20th which was the day i started this blog. (But that was July, not August - it was the King Kirby 100 that followed which cross-linked them in my head)
