Xmas Xhortations!

 

 

Well, naturally i meant to get this up yesterday, but things didn't work out that way.
Much like how i meant to make keep-alive posts every six months hasn't worked out in actual practice.

I hope a Happy Holiday Season is being had by all.

Once again our Xmas Cards are based in The Third Colony, the game world in which i mostly live these days. Since most folks likely haven't followed along, here's a few contextual notes for reference:
When it refers to Santa returning to PoD9, we're talking about Pair'o'Dice9, the colony world that is the main stage for the game.
Since Xmas is essentially broken into two separate holidays on PoD9 - Yulbilee and the Feast Of Yeshua - neither of which features Santa Claus as a part of the lore, Santa is unknown to most of the population and doesn't visit the colony in a working capacity. But Kelly, Moon, and Teela met him while off-world and crossing universes a couple years ago and have kept up the acquaintance. Though Moon misheard his introduction as Sainted Claws, and there's been some confusion over that.
Gene's complaints about a Nutcracker outfit to Ben reference the fact that his genitals are somewhat missing (there's just a socket where the shaft should be and he's on a Quest to recover it. We mentioned before it's a very Odd place, right?)
Kelly, whose outfit is basically ribbons, didn't choose her attire. As is often the case, she wound up wearing what Teela (the short orange-haired one) and Moon (the tall black-hair one) have selected for her.
The one remaining unnamed at this point is Eileen, the first character from the first incarnation of the game, who's checking with Moon for a second opinion on whether the green fur of the cap clashes badly with her red hair.

For those who may be wondering - Yes, I'm Alive! This is not a pre-recorded post. I've even made baby steps out of the Hermit Cave in recent times.
