Fuck Blogger

Well - they forced the new interface upon all users, and it is truly TERRIBLE. I mean viciously, ass-raping terrible. I cannot find a single thing that is an improvement, but i can find dozens of things ranging from Bad to WTF Stupid.

Terrible enough that i'm not sure i'll be continuing here any longer.

There are two posts in the queue currently. After that...?

  1. Actually, make that "...there are one and a half posts in the queue..."
I was returning to finish writing the second post when the broken update was forced on all users. All the pages are there, but not all the text.

    Sorry.

Feel free to suggest any Good blog services that operate for free.

    1. Yes, it's terrible, and makes arranging photos and pictures much more difficult (if not impossible) to do in a consistent manner. What's more, on some browsers, only the title shows up in the draft stage, with every other option to compose completely absent. Not an improvement or even a good idea. What the hell's the matter with them? Maybe they're trying to sabotage it so they can then introduce yet another version, but one that we have to pay for?

    2. On the plus side, i freed up nearly 60GB of space on the hard drive when removing the work files for the blog.

  2. I just found the most amazing bug in the new blogger. Amazing because it's so bad that I don't see how they could possibly have missed it. Write a post. Publish it. Then edit the already published post. Your edits are live, i.e. whatever you change is updated while you're typing. As if that isn't bad enough, it means you can't change your mind and abandon your edits. As soon as you start editing, your original post is gone.

    1. Amazing again, this time in a good way. I reported the bug 18 hours ago, and it's already been fixed! So the programmers at Google aren't on strike after all :)
