Have extra pictures instead.
(If you weren't already following along, here are parts One, Two, and Three in this series)
Another 'almost' appearance of Stan & Steve in this one...
Now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna slip back to the '50s for some earlier Ditko.

More lots of fine Ditko art.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, while reading 'The Living Statues' it suddenly struck me how cold it would be somewhere where time had stopped since heat is just the kinetic energy of molecules bouncing around and oscillating. No motion, no heat. Moot point seeing as it's impossible but still.
We have to assume his molecular action is unimpeded since he can move and function, but how quickly would he bleed off heat if the surrounding molecules couldn't absorb it?
DeleteI don't even want to think about the static nature of light at that point...
That's an excellent point. Come to think of it, there's also all the air he's displacing while moving around which like him with time stopped is moving infinitely fast.
ReplyDeleteYeah - this is why magic works better than science for these sorts of situations - the headaches.
